.
Hi Sunway. I'm a week back from the Cape Town to Vic Falls trip and am slowly adjusting to normal (but now not what I would call real) life! Had a fantastic time and am pleased with the holiday that I chose.
Saw some amazing scenery and camped in some beautiful places. Was a bit apprehensive about camping facilities but found that they trumped American ones for experiences and vistas. My favourite pitches were actually the most basic: Ghanzi bushman huts and the Okavanga Delta in Botswana!
Loved the variety in places visited, opportunity to meet local people and the chance to do things that I wouldn't normally do. Bush walking in the Okavango Delta, watching a sunrise over the dunes in Namibia, the Flying Fox and Gorge Swing at Livingstone are classic examples.
Have entertained the thought of travel in Africa for some time and this trip has inspired me to explore further...
Still, I have to earn some money now to fund a Mozambique trip I have my eye on for next August!
Thanks and best wishes, Sarah
